A deep-diving version of the Husky Jerk, the Down Deep Husky Jerk, via its oversized lip, reaches depths of nearly 6 meters when trolled and will run as deep as 3 meters when cast or retrieved. Perfect for anglers who want a lure that can run straight and true, even when running fast and deep. The Glass Minnow patterns available in this Down Deep series are an effective weapon in the depths.
How to Fish:
A great way to fish the Down Deep Husky Jerk is to fast crank your lure down to preferred depth. Pause for a count of 2–3, then do a 2–3 foot sweep forward. Pause, and reel up the slack to reset. Then sweep again. Watch your line for a strike as you are reeling slack. Fish will often strike when you stop, or just as you begin your next sweep.
