Updated internals deliver smoother, more efficient operation, while the frictionless main shaft improves retrieve feel by reducing resistance. A redesigned TPE handle knob adds secure grip and comfort across a wide range of freshwater and light saltwater spinning applications.
Smoothness and Control
The Ceymar is built for dependable allround spinning performance with a 7BB+1RB bearing system, Flite Drive system, and Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing. Together, these features create a stable, refined retrieve with solid hook-setting control and consistent performance under load.
The multi-disc, oiled felt drag system provides smooth pressure throughout the fight, while the precision machine cut brass pinion gear supports long-term reliability. The frictionless main shaft further enhances rotation smoothness, making the reel feel light and direct during continuous casting and retrieving.
Durability and Practical Design
A corrosion resistant frame, sideplate, and rotor help the Ceymar stand up to demanding fishing conditions. The reel also features a rigid black anodized aluminum handle, machined two-tone anodized aluminum spool, and heavy-duty solid aluminum bail wire. Handle knob shape is matched to reel size for better comfort and control, with I-shaped TPE knobs on 500-2500 sizes, T-shaped TPE knobs on 3000-4000 sizes, and Ergo Grip knobs on 6000-8000 sizes.
