The 25 Caldia LT represents the next evolution of one of most respected spinning reels. Built around the AIRDRIVE Design concept, it delivers reduced inertia, improved balance, and refined control while preserving the durability and lightness that have defined the Caldia series for years.
Design & Construction
The reel body is constructed from a ZAION V® Monocoque frame, offering high rigidity with minimal weight. The AIRDRIVE Design optimizes key rotating components—rotor, spool, bail, and line roller—to reduce startup resistance and improve sensitivity during retrieves and lure control.
MagSealed® body construction protects the internal gearing from water and fine debris, ensuring long-term smoothness and reliability in both freshwater and saltwater environments.
Performance on the Water
TOUGH DIGIGEAR® provides precise gear engagement and consistent power transmission under load. The updated ATD® Type-L drag system (sizes up to 4000) offers exceptionally smooth initial resistance, reducing line shock during sudden runs. Size 5000 models feature ATD® Tough with carbon drag discs, engineered for sustained pressure against larger, more powerful fish.
