The Morethan AGS Seatrout series represents DAIWA’s most advanced rod building expertise, designed specifically for demanding sea trout anglers who require maximum casting precision, sensitivity, and control under real coastal conditions.
Advanced Blank Construction
The blank is built from SVF® carbon combined with Nanoplus technology, resulting in an extremely slim and lightweight construction with significantly increased durability. This material combination minimizes resin content while maximizing carbon density, reducing unwanted blank torque during the cast.
The X45X® carbon fiber structure improves compression resistance across the entire blank, delivering longer, more accurate casts and a stable response even when fishing in strong winds or at long range.
Sensitivity and Control
Equipped with torsion-resistant AGS® carbon guides, every lure movement and bottom contact is transmitted directly into the blank and through to the angler’s hand. The DAIWA® Air Sensor reel seat, made from carbon composite, is exceptionally light, ergonomically shaped, and keeps the reel firmly seated without twisting under load.
