The Tournament XT Titanium Spin series represents the highest level of DAIWA spinning rod engineering, combining advanced blank construction technologies with ultra-lightweight, premium-grade components. Blank Construction & Performance
The blank is manufactured from SVF carbon fiber with extremely low resin content, resulting in a very light and fast-reacting structure. This allows for immediate feedback, precise lure control, and highly accurate casting even at long distances.
DAIWA Nanoplus technology optimizes the resin by incorporating nano-scale carbon particles, significantly increasing blank robustness while further reducing overall weight. The additional X45 carbon fiber layout, applied at a 45° angle, effectively minimizes blank twist and improves casting accuracy, hook-setting power, and control under load.
Components & Handling
The handle section is reinforced with 3DX 3D-Cross carbon material, enhancing backbone strength while giving the rod a distinctive premium appearance. Fuji Titanium SiC K-guides are used throughout, offering exceptional weight savings compared to steel-framed guides and ensuring rapid blank recovery after casting.
The lightweight DAIWA Air Sensor reel seat made from carbon composite provides excellent rigidity and sensitivity while remaining comfortable during long fishing sessions.
