The warm Finntrail Powerman jacket is designed for riding in severe frost, at temperatures down to -30°C. The ergonomic cut ensures unrestricted movements, while the high collar with hygroscopic microfleece lining and a helmet-compatible adjustable hood provide comfort during active winter rides.
Made of durable 2.5-layer wearproof fabric with a HARD-TEX® membrane and finished with a DWR C6 water-repellent coating, the jacket reliably protects against wind, wet snow, and rain. Fully sealed seams guarantee 100% waterproofing. The Thermalrate insulation retains warmth and comfort in extreme cold.
The jacket features outer adjustable cuffs and inner Lycra cuffs with a thumbhole, a snowproof skirt, adjustable waist, two-way waterproof YKK AquaGuard zipper with windproof plackets, and underarm ventilation with snow-blocking mesh. For storage, there are two waterproof chest pockets, two large fleece-lined side pockets with protective flaps, one inner zippered pocket with headphone port, and one large inner mesh pocket. Additional details include D-rings at the waist for attaching a snowmobile safety lanyard and a radio holder loop on the chest.
Reflective elements on the front and back enhance visibility in low light. For maximum protection, the Powerman jacket is recommended to be worn with the Powerman bib.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF MEMBRANE GEAR
WASHING
Like everything, gear loses its useful properties with each wash. Try to minimize the number of washes and the gear will last a long time. Clean your gear from adhering dirt and rinse under running water.
Washing by hand:
To remove minor impurities, it is enough to use ordinary soap, a soft bristle brush or a sponge.
In a washing machine:
“Membrane fabric” or “Hand wash" mode in cold water with a thorough rinse. Use only special detergents for membrane fabrics (do not use laundry detergents, conditioners and bleaches), do not wring, do not use dry cleaning.
DRYING
After washing turn the gear inside out and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated area.
After drying the inside, turn it inside out again and leave it to dry completely.
Do not dry gear near bonfires, heaters and in direct sunlight.
PROPER STORAGE
If possible, store the gear flat, upright, in a dry and ventilated area.
Use clothing covers to protect the membrane from dust. The dust clogs the membrane structure and "blocks" breathing.
Pay attention to creases: do not leave them during storage. Creases can damage protective layers, which lead to micro cracks on it and decrease effectiveness of gear.
