The Airity Hybrid series represents a refined combination of DAIWA’s most advanced rod technologies. By integrating ultra-light carbon components with carefully selected conventional guides, this series delivers maximum sensitivity, fast response, and exceptional balance for demanding softbait applications.
Hybrid Guide Concept & Sensitivity
The hybrid guide setup combines original Fuji SiC K guides in the butt section with DAIWA AGS carbon guides on all following positions. This configuration places strength and durability where line stress is highest, while drastically reducing weight toward the tip.
AGS carbon guides are approximately 40% lighter than comparable metal-framed SiC guides. The reduced mass allows the fast SVF Nanoplus blank to recover instantly after casting, eliminating tip oscillation and delivering direct vibration transmission for precise lure control and reliable bite detection.
Blank Construction & Action
The SVF Nanoplus carbon fiber blank is enhanced with X45X construction, a special carbon fiber arrangement that significantly increases compression resistance and torsional strength. Under load, the blank remains stable and powerful, while the extremely fast tip action ensures solid hook sets even at long casting distances.
